Broadband is defined as a high bandwidth connection to the Internet. OCM recommend that business users have a dedicated broadband connection for their VoIP/Internet calls.

Broadband can be provided over your phone line, via cable or via satellite.

OCM can supply your connection so you have a one stop solution.

The faster your internet connection, the greater the number of simultaneous calls you can make and receive.

OCM can advise on ADSL, ADSL Max, ADSL2+, SDSL and dedicated access.

As an indicator, if you have a typical connection of 8mb download, 800k uplink you can comfortably make 6 simultaneous high quality calls.

 

If your site has limited bandwidth available we can also bond 2 or more connections together  to meet your requirements.
