Frame is the easiest way to run Windows software in the cloud

Use any device, all you need is a browser

OCM are excited to become UK partners of Frame.  Frame uses the power of the cloud to let you work freely from anywhere.

What is Frame?

Simply put, Frame is your own personal computer in the cloud. Install any software and use it from any device with a web browser. You can connect your Dropbox, Box and Google Drive to your Frame account and work with your applications and data from day one.

A perfect choice for a cloud-friendly business with Windows apps.  Manage your team and applications, all from one place.

Installing and configuring an app to run on Frame is no different from how you’d install it on your own PC.

There is nothing new to learn and we take care of everything  behind the scenes.

You're able to share your app instantly with your co-worker, fellow student, or a customer, you avoid sending files back and forth (hopefully, you're not using email for this.)

Even better, since there’s nothing to install, anyone can jump in and use apps immediately. Days or looking for the dusty installation CD for an app you'll need for 5 minutes? Gone.

We believe that it’s only fair for you to pay for the capacity you really use.

Gone are the days of designing for (and spending way too much money on) peak capacity.

You can easily scale up when you need to, then minimize the usage in quiet times. The best thing about it? It’s all automatic.

How does Frame compare to other options?

What are Frame’s available systems?

Frame FAQs

Can Frame connect with on-premise storage?

Yes. There are a couple of options to connect Frame to your on-premise storage and compute environment through VPN. Typically, your uplink will limit the transfer rate, so on-prem storage is best for lightweight data and systems (licensing servers, low traffic database servers, etc.).

Can I manage users using AD or SSO?

Yes. We support SSO using Google or AD (through ADFS or Okta). Our support team can help you configure it.

Which OS/hypervisor is being used?

Frame runs on Windows Server 2012. We also support WS2012R2 and WS2008 as needed. In general, Frame is infrastructure-agnostic, and we have successfully deployed it on various hypervisors, including Xen, KVM, and ESXi.

Do I have to use a browser to access Frame?

No. We also currently have native terminals (our name for clients) in beta for Windows, OSX and iOS.

How does Frame handle resource scaling to meet changing end-user demand?

Frame for Business accounts include automatic elastic scaling to react to changing loads within bounds set by the administrator of the Frame account.

Is Frame based on Server Based Computing (SBC) or VDI?

Each user on Frame has their own virtual machine, so it's more like VDI. At the same time, we have our own presentation layer that lets users run individual apps without having to go into a full desktop.

What are the available plans on Frame?

Costs start as little as ‎£9.99 per user, per month which includes 200 credits ( 10 hours).  A team of 5 users would cost £99.99 per month and includes 2500 credits ( 250 shared hours ). Hours calculated on Air system.
